New Moon in Cancer : Tuesday
This week, the Sun in Cancer at 7° is helping to solidify our new way of caring for ourselves on the inside. The Cancer New Moon on Tuesday has us opening up and expanding our beliefs around what we are meant to be doing. Mercury and Venus are both in Gemini and we are mentally accepting and coming to terms with what it means to think differently on a day to day basis. Mars, Jupiter and Chiron are all still in Aries continuing to push our new story forward. Jupiter and Chiron are slowing down, helping us to hone in on the new beliefs and let go of the old story we have been living that has been holding us back. Saturn and Pluto are both retrograde, with Neptune joining in on Tuesday, this is a time to pay attention to the outcomes/responses/ effects of the old way of doing things. This will hopefully give us the awareness that we need to make rewrites according to what we wish to happen next. Uranus and the North Node in Taurus are 4° apart this week, and as we prepare for their exact conjunction at the end of the month, know that you will be feeling their energy build over the next few weeks. Uranus, the planet of shock and awe, is planning a shake up to our future decisions and plans. This week we are starting to sense the future and day to day life we truly belong with. Black Moon Lilith is at 8° this week and receives her conjunction from the Sun, on Wednesday, fears will be highlighted around old decisions of taking care of yourself. Do your best to stick to your new values, and new perspective in order to make better choices for yourself now.
Monday June 27 Sun: Cancer 5°-6° (changing at 12:06pm) Moon: Gemini
Mercury in Gemini sextiles Chiron in Aries at 16° this morning and we are mentally opening up to healing what must be done in order for us to let go of our old story/ way of responding. Mars in Aries sextiles Saturn (retro) at 24° in Aquarius and you could feel ready to take on that project that you did not have the time/energy/abilities for previously. You may feel that it is now easier to get tasks done, and you are exploring the realities of what you wish to put your time into now. The Moon in Gemini conjuncts Mercury and sextiles Chiron overnight bringing your feelings into the mix around where you need to open up and heal. It should be apparent on multiple fronts at this point. She is quiet until the evening when she makes a trine to Saturn (retro) and a sextile to Mars connecting our feelings into our ego’s new drive and discipline in the future. She makes a square to Neptune later this evening and thoughts and feelings around your future/where you are going, and how it relates to your new spiritual identity could come up. It could be an emotional day as we reflect on who we have been in the past and who we wish to be going forward. We are now starting to realize on many levels what the consequences of this new story are. Neptune stations retrograde at 25° of Pisces late this evening, signifying we have seen all of our old karmic patterns and that it is now up to us to rewrite them for the future. You may begin to see the effects of your old ways, for the next 6 months. This is to allow you to further refine your new patterns even further. This is a good time to take a break, slow down, and digest all that you have learned over the past 6 months.
Tuesday June 28 Sun: Cancer 6°-7° (changing at 1:19pm est) Moon: Cancer
Cancer New Moon at 7° at 10:52 pm est
The Moon moves into Cancer this morning and builds toward tonight’s New Moon at 7°. This gives us ample time during the day to feel into the path that has been created just for us, and acknowledging the new care on the inside we must surrender to in order for us to get there. The Sun and Moon square Jupiter just before tonight’s NM, amplifying the initiatory energy of the evening. You are emotionally ready to begin the new story you have been ordained for. We will be spending the rest of the year figuring out what that physically looks like in this new world that we are now living in. Venus is also in sync sextiling Jupiter (and semisextiling the NM), allowing us to open up and accept the risks we must take to live the life we were made for.
Wednesday June 29 Sun: Cancer 7°-8° (changing at 2:28pm est) Moon: Cancer
The Sun conjuncts Black Moon Lilith at 8° and could be shining a light on where you need to face fears around decisions you have made for yourself in the past regarding personal care. It is time to care for yourself on a new level, and move beyond what has been holding you back. Venus is in Gemini at 8° and makes a semi-sextile to the conjunction, helping your mind to accept new quick solutions to old problems. The Moon in Cancer square Chiron in Aries at 16° and is the perfect adjunct to today’s major aspect, allowing us to heal even further and move on from old ways of feeling around we we had come to accept about ourselves in day to day life. She makes a sextile to Uranus in Taurus at 17° tonight and we are beginning to feel the new day to day identity that we have been made to feel based on our new values and way of seeing ourselves.
Thursday June 30 Sun:Cancer 8°-9° (changing at 3:38pm est) Moon: Cancer-Leo (8:29pm)
The Sun at 8°-9° today has us making decisions and taking new actions around self care . The Moon in Cancer sextiles the North Node overnight and could have you waking up feeling more in emotional line with your new path. She makes a trine to Neptune in Pisces (now retro) at 25° in the late morning and could leave you in a dreamy hazy feel as you imagine what your new future could be like. She makes a square to Mars in Aries at 26° and an opposition to Pluto (retro) at 27°, in the afternoon and could bring a reality check to our morning as we feel into future decisions we must act on, and where we must now find new balance in our work and home life based on the new story. She moves into Leo this evening and we are beginning to feel into new creative ways to take care of ourselves now.
Friday July 1 Sun: Cancer 9°-10° (changing at 4:48pm est) Moon: Leo
This month starts off with some strong energy as Mars in Aries squares Pluto (retro) in Capricorn at 27°. A kick off for what will be a pretty active month. Sparks could be flying as heady ego energy meets a hard stop from old structure systems today. Our new way of acting in the outerworld may face a challenge from the old power structures of the past. We are being asked to slow down this weekend and check in with our future action plans and make sure we have a solid plan in place for our transformation. The Moon at 9° of Cancer has us desiring to take action on our new plans for taking care of ourselves in the future. Do something today your future self will thank you for later! (go ahead, schedule that massage/acupuncture session/float tank time/astro reading etc…!) The Sun at 10° has us holding space for our future desires for self care. (so make sure it’s something worth looking forward to!) The Moon in Leo is helping you feel into your new role and what brings you joy now. She makes a trine to Jupiter in Aries just before noon and helps to expand your creative intuition around what you believe about yourself now. She makes a trine to Venus in Gemini this evening, potentially bringing in some new feelings around your new way of thinking about manifesting. Mercury is active today, making a trine to Saturn (retro) in Aquarius at 24° in the morning and a square to Neptune (retro) at 25° in the evening. We are beginning to mentally open up to the work that will be needed to take us to the next level in our future. There may still be some confusion and uncertainty around what this path looks like, it is time to let go of the mind’s logic and reasoning and feel into where you feel your best, this will help point you in the right direction at the very least. The Sun is at 10° for most of the day, and has us holding space for our new emotional truth on the inside. As she moves to 11° this evening you will be seeking emotional integrity in your life and may start to see where things are not in alignment. Check in with your emotions before acting out where you see incompatibility, see if you can respond in a new way that reflects your new karmic path. The Moon in Leo makes a trine to Chiron early in the morning at 16° and could have us ready to accept this emotional role we are playing that is based on what we have healed from and the new sense of self we have been developing. She makes squares to Uranus at 17° and the North Node at 21° in Taurus, this could bring in an emotional test this afternoon to see how well we have been healed and moved on, so that we can accept our new identity and future based on our new values. The Moon will make an opposition to Saturn tonight helping to show us the new emotional balance that must be made between your future plans and what brings you joy.
