Happy Solstice and Merry Christmas Everyone!
The Sun finishes out Sagittarius with its annual conjunction to the Galactic Center on Monday and we are signing off on what we desire to develop in our lives over the coming year. The Galactic Center represents our galaxy’s deeper connection into the universal cosmos as a whole. Conjunctions and aspects to this point progress our personal development around our God given path. The Sun represents what our heart desires and what/how we find joy. Even if you’re not clear on all of the details of what that joy looks like, you will most likely be connecting to feelings around your new character’s development and the journeys you would like to take on this new timeline.

Wednesday’s Solstice is accompanied by a square to Jupiter in Aries at 0° highlighting a general theme for this Capricorn season of holding space for the new opportunities we will have available to us once we commit to the new behaviors we need to have going forward. We will be taking a close look at how we have spent our time over the past year and making decisions for new ways of working based on the new goals we are hoping to achieve 

As Jupiter moves into Aries on Tuesday we will be expanding into a new character, one that you may have explored earlier this year when Jupiter reached 8° of Aries in July before retrograding back into Pisces. Jupiter will move past this point February 10th and could have you breaking new ground on the decisions you are making for the new behaviors you you believe you are capable of. Expect more clarity on what the road ahead looks like in then. For now, do some internal work on where you wish to expand your understandings and life experiences now that we’re in this new world. 

Barely 2 days after the Solstice we have our Capricorn New Moon at 1° which is joined by Chiron stationing direct in Aries at 11° less than an hour before. This New Moon has us planting the seeds of the new responsibilities and self-discipline we need to achieve the new goals we have. We are recognizing how we have healed and what we are desiring to integrate into our new behaviors so that we are in better alignment with the new integrity we desire. 

Venus in Capricorn is busy this week as she follows in the wake of Mercury. She starts off on Monday with a square to Chiron (still retro) at 11° and a trine to the North Node in Taurus at 12°. We are opening up to the changes that need to be made in our behaviors to achieve the new integrity we believe in for the future. Mars (retro) in Gemini is also at 11° on Monday, making a sextile to Chiron and a quincunx to Venus. Our Egodrive is reworking our perspective around what integrity of action looks like now that we have healed, and is considering the long term outcomes of maintaining this new integrity.Monday is definitely a day of opening up to a new course of action that we can believe in for our future based on the healing work that we have done. Thursday, Venus makes her trine to Uranus (retro) in Taurus at 15° and we are opening up to the new vision we have around what we can take responsibility for and how this will shape the identity we are refining. This, along with Monday’s energies should help prepare us for Friday’s New Moon. 

Mercury in Capricorn moves from 17°-23° this week and is slowing down as he prepares to retrograde next Thursday January 29. He is quiet until Saturday when he makes a sextile to Neptune (now direct) in Pisces at 22°, the first of 3. Our minds are looking for a new harmony to belong to between our responsibilities and the ordained path we are being directed to take. During the retrograde phase, we will explore the new options we can attract with the new mindset we are committing to. In January, you may reconsider certain responsibilities that you may not have been previously up for.  We will be working during this retrograde to upgrade our decision making abilities around where we spend our time, so that we can open up to higher levels of achievement. 

Black Moon Lilith in Cancer moves to 28° on Thursday and we could start to face fears around the care that we have manifested for ourselves in the past. It is time to make decisions that you feel you are capable of maintaining in order to commit to a higher form of care in the future.
