Sun: Capricorn 19°-25° Moon: Leo-Scorpio
The Sun moves into the last decan of Capricorn this week and you may start to see outerworld changes occurring as we all decide on the new actions we are taking to manifest the new goals that we are connected with now. Along with Mars stationing direct, several outer planets will be changing degrees this week, calling us to move forward with our personal assignments. Just make sure to double check your work as Mercury is still retrograde until next week. The Sun will make a sextile to Neptune in Pisces at 23° on Friday and we are seeking a new harmony between the future goals we believe in and the ordained future we are being led to. A new road may open up that not only fulfills your goal desires but leads you to what has been waiting for you all along. By the end of the week the Sun makes it to 25° (net 7 in the Witecki/ Sirius Joy Step System; 7 represents Neptune, Pisces, and 12th house energies) and you may have even more clarity around how the new goal desires you are connecting with are leading you towards the ordained path you were meant for.
Mercury is retro in Capricorn for one last week as he moves from 14°-8°, where he will station direct Jan. 18. It is definitely interesting to note that Mercury’s station degree is 8°08’, exactly the same as Mars in Gemini, who stations direct this week. In the Witecki/ Sirius Joy step system, 8° is all about personal decisions, commitments, and where we put our time and efforts, (it represents Capricorn, Saturn and the 10th house energies) and as both retrograde phases come to an end you may find yourself ready to make personal decisions and commitments on entirely new levels based on the new perspective you have of yourself. On Wednesday, Mercury makes a square to Chiron in Aries at 12° and we may be forced to reconsider the goals we had for ourselves based on how we are integrating our new beliefs into our actions and responses. Now that we have leveled up our behavioral pattern, we need to level up our perspective around the goals we can achieve now. Mercury makes a trine to the North Node in Taurus at 10° on Friday and the reconsideration process we are undergoing around the goals we are holding space for is supporting the future we are hoping to manifest for ourselves. Venus in Aquarius is busy this week, starting off Monday with a trine to Mars in Gemini, who is retro until Thursday, at 8°, and we are opening up to new decisions around the actions we need to take for ourselves to maintain our new vibe. You may have an opportunity on Monday to see more clearly what decisions you are making based on your old perspective still. Now that we are truly opening up to the new vibe we are committing to for the future, we must weed out the old behavioral patterns. You may feel like you really need to follow through with this clean-up process on Wednesday as Venus makes a square to the North Node in Taurus at 10° and we are needing to turn a corner towards the new future we are manifesting. Follow the tune of your new vibe to take the appropriate exit ramp. She makes a sextile to Chiron in Aries at 12° on Thursday and we are seeking a new harmony between the vibe we believe we can open up to now, and the new behaviors we are working to embody. Now that Chiron is direct, we are integrating what we have healed into our new behavior and response system. The sextile from Venus is helping us to open up to a new way of embodying those behaviors based on the vibe we feel we love now. Venus rounds out her conversations this week with a square to Uranus (retro) in Taurus at 14° on Saturday and you may need to make yet another decision around the identity you are reimagining for yourself based on the new vibe you are opening up to. Make any changes based on the new new vibe you love belonging to now.
Mars in Gemini stations Direct at 8°08’ on January 12, and our egodrive is ready to move forward with the new decisions we are making for ourselves based on our new perspective. During this retrogadge phase, which started 10/30/22 at 25° of Gemini, we have been examining how our actions have reflected our perspective of the outer world and ourselves. We have been working on developing a new perspective of ourselves based on what we have come to understand now, and what we have been able to heal in our character through Chiron in Aries. Not only is Chiron in Mar’s sign, they have interacted via sextile twice already during his time in Gemini, the first time being Sept. 17, 2022 while Mars was direct and Chiron was retro at 15°, and the second on Dec. 19, 2022 , when they were both retro at 11°. Their next meet up will be in Feb, when they are both direct, at 13°. (I thought I would show you how I break down the astrology via the Witecki step system!) We have been specifically healing (Chiron) the old perspective (Gemini) we had opened up to (15°- Venus ruled ) and acted on (Mars) in the past (retro). In December we had the opportunity to reconsider (retro) how our behaviors (Mars) are no longer in alignment (11° -Chiron ruled) with the healing work we are doing (Chiron) around our character (Aries). In February we should all have greater clarity (both planets direct) around the new behaviors (Mars) that we belong with based on our new beliefs (13°- Uranus ruled ) and the healing work we are doing (Chiron) around the new character we are establishing via our actions (Aries)
Jupiter in Aries moves from 2°-3° this weekend and our storyline moves forward as we work to match our beliefs with our behaviors. We are expanding into what it means to believe what we do now, which may mean some analysis of the way we have behaved in the past. You could have a little reality check around previous responses, actions or behaviors in order to realign yourself in accordance to your new understandings.
Saturn moves to 24° of Aquarius this weekend as well, and we are opening up to the commitments we feel we can maintain for the long haul because of how they support our new vibe. This week may bring more clarity on what you believe you can be more responsible with now. If you’ve been waiting to let go of an outdated habit, this could be a good time to start!
Uranus is still retrograde in Taurus for the next 2 weeks, but it will move to its stationing degree of 14° this Wednesday. Uranus’s retrograde period began last August at 18° and we have been reviewing the actions plans we are taking to manifest our new identity for these last 13 days retrograde, we will be reconsidering the vision we have of ourselves now, based on the new values we belong with. Once direct we can move forward with how we are manifesting that new vision for our identity. Spend this time considering what you love belonging with now, and how you can manifest that into your new identity.
Neptune in Pisces moved to 23° Jan. 8 and will be here until the middle of February. We are beginning to really envision what our ordained future looks like based on the beliefs we have now. This will be Neptune’s last visit to this degree in our lifetime which suggests, that the future you are envisioning for yourself now, will be the one you will have for the rest of your life. This is a great time to be very intentional about the life you are creating.
Pluto moves to 28° of Capricorn this week and you may begin to see the fruits of the decisions you are making around your life transformation. We are starting to feel into the commitments we need to make now in order to manifest the new life structure we wish to live under. Pluto will return to this degree for the last time next November, giving us the rest of the year to get a better grip on what we are manifesting for ourselves based on the new decisions we are making.
The North Node in Taurus moved to 10° last week and we are now holding space for the new future we wish to manifest for ourselves. The North Node’s journey through Taurus has been paving the way for our new future via the new values that we hold. This degree is important as it is where the Solar Eclipse in Taurus happened April 30, 2022. Take time to recognize what has been created since you planted those seeds last spring. The North Node will spend the next week here, and could be a great time to re-evaluate what you are holding space for based on where your values lie now.
Black Moon Lilith moved into Leo last week and is hanging out at 0° throughout this week as well. Now that she has moved out of Cancer, we are done facing fears over the self-care we have or have not taken for ourselves in the past. We are now facing fears around where we have restricted joy in our lives, or perhaps found joy in something that ended up hurting you later. At 0° BML is more quiet and reserved. Use this time to try something new that maybe you avoided in the past. You may feel less anxious around new options for joy.
